Attempt of De Lannoy to intervene and the warning from the king

Colonel De Lannoy was sad that his friend had been arrested and was being taken to the king. He wondered what would happen to him and perhaps wanted to help him to be freed. So he sent a European soldier behind those who arrested Devasahayam. The Secretary reported that to the King and the king severely warned De Lannoy and admonished him not to interfere in the affairs of the court.
